Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is the first major candidate from either party to join the 2016 presidential race, having declared his candidacy in a late night tweet. And in rolling out his campaign, the freshman lawmaker on Monday released a two-minute sales pitch touting his biography and resume that frames him as the Washington outsider best suited to fill Washington's top job.
