Canadians take 2,090-mile road trip to eat at KFC

The Proclaimers have nothing on a group of six Canadians who traveled 2,090 miles to eat at KFC.

Two friends from Montreal, Quebec took their sons on a 34-hour road trip to the original home of KFC in Corbin, Kentucky. Corbin is Colonel Sanders' birthplace, as well as home to the Harland Sanders Cafe and Museum, the birthplace of Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Brian Lutfy and Neil Janna thought the road trip would be a fun (and tasty!) way to bond with their families. Lutfy had visited the Harland Sanders Cafe in 1985 and wanted to return with his son.

The trip was the first time three of the four sons ate KFC, even though there are KFC restaurants in Montreal. The verdict? Jason Lutfy, Brian Lutfy's 13-year-old son, said his meal was "delicious."
