Mamma Mia! is finally bidding the stage adieu.
Producer Judy Craymer announced Thursday that Sept. 5 will be the last performance of the classic musical, which ran for 14 years on Broadway.
Deadline reports that the musical, which features ABBA songs and is loosely based on 1968's Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell, will have played 5,765 performances by the time it shutters. The show has grossed more than $2 billion worldwide, including more than $600 million from Broadway alone.
