A nationwide terrorism investigation netted at least six arrests in Minneapolis and San Diego on Sunday.

Spokesman Ben Petok with the Minnesota U.S. Attorney's Office said more information will be released on Monday, and the public is not under any threat. The arrests are in connection with an investigation into young people who have traveled or attempted to go to Syria to fight with ISIS militants, authorities said. A handful of Minnesota residents have gone to Syria to join ISIS, The Associated Press reports, including one who was killed.
