When it comes to Seinfeld, Hulu subscribers will soon need to ask themselves a question: Is it stream-worthy?
According to the Wall Street Journal, Hulu has officially acquired the exclusive streaming rights to all 180 episodes of Seinfeld, winning a bidding war that also encompassed streaming rivals like Amazon and Yahoo. The report adds that Hulu paid roughly $700,000 per episode — a full $200,000 more per episode than Netflix reportedly paid for rival '90s sitcom Friends, which debuted on the streaming service earlier this year.
No word on when Seinfeld will actually debut on Hulu, but until it does, just turn on your TV and click over to TBS. It's probably on right now.
