Meet an Aussie who quit his job to care for dozens of orphaned kangaroos

Want to quit your job and take care of a bunch of kangaroos all day — like, dozens of orphaned kangaroos? The Los Angeles Times reports that one Australian, Chris Barns, did just that in 2005.

What started as a small-scale rehabilitation program has since grown into 90 acres of kangaroo-inhabited land, known as The Kangaroo Sanctuary Alice Springs. Barns — now known as Kangaroo Dundee — gives tours of the reserve and its creatures — perhaps most memorably Roger, a 200-pound, 6-foot-7 kangaroo version of The Rock.
