Missing former White House chef found dead in New Mexico

Former White House Executive Chef Walter Scheib, 61, was found dead in a river near Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico. He had been missing since June 13.

Scheib was thought to be hiking in the valley after his Subaru was found at the Yerba Canyon trailhead last week. According to Taos News, coordinators believe Scheib might have reached the canyon's summit and encountered problems during the descent.
