David Letterman just came out of retirement to make fun of Donald Trump


David Letterman retired in May, but just because he no longer skewers people on TV every night doesn't mean he's started suffering fools. The former Late Show host made a surprise appearance onstage Friday at Martin Short and Steve Martin's A Very Stupid Conversation.
"I was complacent, I was satisfied, I was content," Letterman said of life after retirement. "And then a couple of days ago, Donald Trump said he was running for president."
A political spectacle of that magnitude calls for a signature Letterman top 10 list, and he didn't disappoint, rattling off interesting facts about Trump.
