David Letterman retired in May, but just because he no longer skewers people on TV every night doesn't mean he's started suffering fools. The former Late Show host made a surprise appearance onstage Friday at Martin Short and Steve Martin's A Very Stupid Conversation.

"I was complacent, I was satisfied, I was content," Letterman said of life after retirement. "And then a couple of days ago, Donald Trump said he was running for president."

A political spectacle of that magnitude calls for a signature Letterman top 10 list, and he didn't disappoint, rattling off interesting facts about Trump.
