O'Donnell said her daughter ran away with her therapy dog and that, though the family had not seen her since last Tuesday, they had been in contact with her. Chelsea had reportedly stopped taking medication for a mental illness and, according to a statement on O'Donnell's website, "is in need of medical attention." Police have not yet classified Chelsea as "missing," but are continuing to investigate her whereabouts.
UPDATE (7:26 p.m. ET): Rosie O’Donnell’s spokeswoman, Cindi Berger, said in a statement that Chelsea has been found. “Rosie wants to thank everyone for their help, especially the South Nyack, New York, and Barneget Light, New Jersey, police departments,” Berger said. “Her daughter Chelsea O’Donnell has been located by the police and is safe in their custody.” Chelsea O’Donnell was found in New Jersey and is in good health, The Washington Post reports.
