In Louisiana, 2 dead, including police officer, after shooting and stabbing incident

In Sunset, Louisiana, two people, including a police officer, are dead and two wounded following a domestic dispute that ended with the suspect barricading himself in a convenience store.
St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said the suspect, Harrison Lee Wiley, 35, fled from a house after allegedly stabbing three people and shooting the police officer who responded to a domestic disturbance call. He drove his car into the mini-mart, and received burns to his neck after officers arrived on the scene and threw tear gas inside the store. Guidroz said the victims are Officer Henry Nelson, 51, and Shemka Johnson, 40. Johnson's sister, Shurlay Johnson, 34, and Wiley's wife, Courtney Jolivette, were also stabbed. Shemka Johnson and Shurlay Johnson are the sisters of Shaterral Johnson, the mayor of Grand Coteau, Louisiana.
Guidroz said Wiley has an "extensive criminal record," and is now in custody, The Associated Press reports. Guidroz said it's believed drugs were involved, telling NBC News: "When people ingest illegal drugs, they get brave, they get stupid."
