Woman stabbed, suspect shot at Washington, D.C.'s Union Station

A security guard was responsible for shots fired at Washington, D.C.'s Union Station, near the Capitol, on Friday afternoon following an attack on a female victim near a McDonald's in the food court. According to reports, a man and a woman were in an argument when the man stabbed the woman; the security guard shot the man in the torso in response. Both the man and the woman are being treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Union Station was briefly evacuated during the investigation.
