This new pro-Hillary ad uses Reagan's famous 'Morning in America' pitch against the 2016 GOP candidates

As much as the Republican Party may idolize former President Ronald Reagan, a new ad from Hillary Clinton super PAC Priorities USA Action contends that the GOP of 2016 has little in common with its 1984 incarnation. The 90-second ad splices segments of Reagan's iconic "Morning in America" ad highlighting America's economic progress with videos of GOP contenders making pessimistic claims (former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush saying people need to work longer hours, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio decrying the minimum wage law, and Donald Trump declaring the American dream to be dead, among others).
"This is not Ronald Reagan's Republican Party," Priorities USA Action Executive Director Anne Caprara said in a statement. "In a generation, the GOP has gone from 'Morning in America' to 'The American Dream is dead.'" Watch the full ad below. Becca Stanek
