When Stephen Colbert asked First Lady Michelle Obama if she had any hopes or plans for her last year in the White House, she first mentioned "having some movement on girls' education," which is the kind of work she and President Obama "want to do long after we leave the White House." Then she took it down a notch. "I also want to do little things, like, you know, open a window," Obama said. "I want to go to Target!" So a note to the families of the 2016 hopefuls: The gilded cage can be stuffy, and does not come with shopping privileges. Plan/hope accordingly. Peter Weber
