Clear your calendars, Rand Paul fans and those who just like to stalk people in general: The Republican senator from Kentucky plans on live-streaming everything he does on the campaign trail Tuesday.
On Twitter Monday, Paul wrote: "Tomorrow I am excited to bring my message of liberty to the country as the first Pres candidate to live-stream an entire day. #randlive" His schedule on Tuesday includes events in Iowa, meetings with staffers and supporters, and watching the Democratic debate, and Paul encouraged people to use #randlive to ask him questions and "take part in the conversation."
Paul's chief digital strategist, Vincent Harris, told Rare the live stream will be available on the campaign's Facebook and UStream pages, and is a way for Paul to "continue his efforts to run the most digital savvy and transparent campaign on either side of the aisle." The access will be "unprecedented," Harris said, calling it "the Rand Paul campaign's version of The Truman Show or EdTV." Will he also cut his own hair? Compost? Give someone an eye exam? Read Ayn Rand aloud? Tune in tomorrow to find out.
