You can now fly in a custom-painted Frozen-themed plane
What does it take to be "one with the wind and sky" like Princess Elsa? Perhaps a ride in WestJet's new Frozen-themed plane.
As the holiday season approaches, children all over the country will be begging their parents to fly in the Canadian carrier's new aircraft. WestJet collaborated with artists from Disney to create the custom paint job, which involved over 600 liters of paint and a crew of six painters working in 12-hour shifts over 21 days. The plane's interior has also been made over with Frozen-themed artwork and headrests.
The plane will operate throughout WestJet's network, including flights to Orlando, where Disney World is located, according to WestJet's blog.
