A visit to the U.K. isn't complete without a trip to the pub and an order of fish and chips, as Prime Minister David Cameron well knows. Offering up some British hospitality, Cameron took China's president, Xi Jinping, to The Plough, a 16th century pub in northwest London, where the two awkwardly sipped Greene King IPAs side by side.

"I was highly delighted," the pub's landlord said.

President Xi has spent several days in the U.K. as Britain courts Chinese investment, although he only sat for about 20 minutes in the pub with Cameron. Reportedly President Xi's "only problem" was that there wasn't enough salt and vinegar for the fish and chips.
