British Prime Minister David Cameron announced Wednesday that Britain will temporarily halt all flights from the Egyptian resort city of Sharm el Sheikh to Britain following the Saturday crash of a Russian jet over the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt.

While Cameron's office said in a statement that he couldn't be sure why the plane crashed, he added that he is "concerned that the plane may well have been brought down by an explosive device." Cameron's announcement, which comes one day ahead of his meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, further raises suspicions that terrorism played a role in the crash that killed 224 people.
