Stephen Colbert gives a half-hearted Hunger Games farewell to Lawrence Lessig

Apparently Stanley Tucci just wasn't very persuasive. On Wednesday's Late Show, Stephen Colbert once more donned his Caesar (sorry, "Julius") Flickerman persona to bid a "Hungry for Power Games" farewell to another fallen presidential tribute. "Which tribute has gone to that great fundraiser in the sky?" he asked. He was told the name of the Democrat. "Ah yes — who?" Colbert said, dropping out of character. "Harvard Law Professor Lawrence Lessig dropped out? When did he drop in?" Explaining that Lessig was a single-issue candidate, he poured his champagne back in the bottle (don't try that at home), took off his wig, and gave Lessig the sendoff he apparently thinks he deserves.
