Report: Paris attacks mastermind target of St. Denis raid

Abdelhamid Abaaoud, named by French authorities as the mastermind of Friday's deadly attacks in Paris, was the likely target of a raid that started early Wednesday in the Paris suburb of St. Denis, French media reports.
Abaaoud was believed to be barricaded in an apartment with two other suspects: Salah Abdeslam and an unnamed "ninth attacker." Laura Haim of Canal Plus said on MSNBC sources told her one terrorist was shot by a sniper and a woman wearing a suicide belt blew herself up after being approached by police. Sources also told Haim two or three police officers have been injured.
Gunfire first rang out at 4:30 a.m. local time, and seven explosions were heard at around 7:30 a.m. Military reinforcements arrived shortly before the explosions were heard, and area residents have been told to stay inside, away from windows.
