As Brussels remains on maximum alert for a potential terrorist attack, Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel said Sunday that schools, universities, and the subway system would remain closed Monday. The decision came at a meeting of the nation's security council, where officials also recommended keeping sports venues, malls, and other public buildings closed, The Associated Press reports.

"We fear an attack like in Paris, with several individuals, perhaps in several places," Michel said Sunday.
