A recent Gallup survey out Wednesday asked Americans: "Suppose Donald Trump is elected president in 2016. In your view, what would be the best or most positive thing about a Donald Trump presidency?" More than four in 10 Americans couldn't think of anything positive at all.

Among just Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents, the sentiment was even stronger, with 54 percent saying there'd be "nothing" good about Trump being president.

When it came to naming the negatives specifically, voters were split on what exactly would be the "worst or most negative thing" about Trump being president, though they were much more forthcoming in naming the negatives than the positives. Most cited his personality and mannerisms, with 12 percent saying he is "too outspoken/impulsive/does not think before he speaks" and 9 percent noting his lack of experience and "arrogance."

For those who did manage to name positive characteristics, 10 percent said he is a "good business person" and "follows through" and 9 percent lauded his immigration policies. Another 8 percent said they see his honesty and the fact that he "says what he feels" as positives.

The poll, conducted among 1,012 adults nationwide, has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
