Man carrying handguns, Koran, arrested at Disneyland Paris

French police arrested a man carrying two guns and a copy of the Koran Thursday after he attempted to enter a hotel near Disneyland Paris. The hotel's security team said the 28-year-old European was carrying the guns, one of which was an automatic handgun, inside a bag that also held a a box of cartridges and a copy of the Koran. No one was injured in the incident.
The man, who was previously unknown to police, has been taken into custody, as has the woman who was with him. The incident remains under investigation by local authorities and has not been passed to anti-terrorism investigators.
