Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders lead in new Iowa poll

The latest poll results ahead of tonight's Iowa caucuses are in, and Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump are on top. The Quinnipiac University poll released Monday morning shows Trump seven points ahead of second-place Ted Cruz, 31 percent to 24 percent. Sanders holds a narrow three-point lead over Hillary Clinton, 49 percent to 46 percent. Democrat Martin O'Malley has just 3 percent support.
On the GOP side, Marco Rubio is in third with 17 percent, followed by Ben Carson with 8 percent, with the remainder of the candidates polling at or below 4 percent.
The poll, conducted Jan. 25-31, has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.3 percentage points.
