New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has been known to come off as somewhat abrasive — take earlier today when he joked he'd "beat [Hillary Clinton's] rear end" on the debate stage:

It wasn't the first time Christie threatened someone's rear end, either. Here are four other classic moments:

Obama's rear end: Christie was directly addressing President Obama at the Jan. 14 Republican debate when he threatened, "We're going to kick your rear end out of the White House."

A student's rear end: Way back in 2012, Christie ruffled some feathers when he got in a shouting match with a Rutgers University law student. The student repeatedly interrupted Christie and, as he was being thrown out, Christie roared after him, "Your rear end's going to get thrown in jail, idiot."

New Jersey Democrats' rear ends: Christie promised to "kick rear ends" in order to secure tax cuts for residents of his state. At the same town hall appearance, he called the Democratic chair of the Senate Budget Committee an "arrogant S.O.B."

His own rear end: During another passionate tax-cut declaration, Christie claimed, "If I don't, you are going to kick my big, fat rear end all over this country for the next four years. I've got a lot of incentive."
