Ted Cruz's U.S. territory consultant just switched his support to Donald Trump

It's never a good sign when your own advisers say your opponent is more electable than you are. Alas, Ted Cruz's U.S. territory consultant Dennis Lennox — who organized Guam, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands in Cruz's name — told Politico he is supporting Donald Trump.
"I respect Sen. Cruz immensely, I just believe at this point, Mr. Trump is better-positioned, because of his stance on trade, to put Democrats on the defensive in states like Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and ensure that Republicans win again," Lennox said.
Lennox said he is not seeking a role with the Trump campaign — he's just "in to win."
