Trump repeatedly insults Rubio during debate by calling him 'Little Marco'
Donald Trump and Marco Rubio got into a heated exchange during the Fox News GOP debate, with Trump calling Rubio "Little Marco" multiple times, and Rubio accusing him of never answering any questions.
"You see what happens when you challenge him on a policy issue?" Rubio asked. "The first thing he does is launch an attack about some little guy, because he doesn't have answers. He's asking us to make him the president of the United States. This is not a game." "You don't know what's happening in the economy," Trump shot back. "You haven't employed in your life one person. I've employed tens of thousands of people."
Moderator Chris Wallace tried to switch gears by announcing he had a policy question for Trump, but was interrupted by Rubio, who said, "Let's see if he answers it." Trump's response? "Don't worry about it, Little Marco, I will." Rubio quickly called him "Big Don," and Wallace admonished both of them to remember they're "better than this." Trump got the last word in, saying Rubio has the "number one absentee record in the United States Senate, doesn't show up to vote. That's why people in Florida don't like him."
