Stephen Colbert catches Scott Kelly up on what happened last year

Astronaut Scott Kelly returned to Earth late Tuesday after almost a year in space. He has physically changed, but "the thing that worries me is that 340 days is a long time to be off-planet, and re-integrating with our culture might come as a shock to Scott," Stephen Colbert said on Thursday's Late Show. "So I want to help him, right now, catch up on some of the things he missed." It isn't a complete list, but you might learn a thing of two. "Thanks to Taylor Swift, we have now learned that females travel in what are called 'squads,'" Colbert began. He ticked through some other cultural phenomena from the past year, then almost dropped the hammer. "And, of course, there's a presidential race this year, and it's..."
