In a game that went down to the wire, the Villanova Wildcats defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels 77-74 on Monday to win the National Championship. Here are the highlights:
It's the team's first national championship since 1985. Kris Jenkins' three-pointer right before the buzzer gave Villanova the win, and guard Phil Booth had a career-best 20 points. Going into the game, North Carolina was favored to win.
