Elizabeth Warren has two words for Ted Cruz: 'Boo hoo'

If Ted Cruz is expecting sympathy for the long hours he's spending on the campaign trail, he isn't getting any from fellow senator Elizabeth Warren.
On her Facebook page, the Democrat from Massachusetts wrote that Cruz sent a fundraising email out on Monday "whining about the 'significant sacrifice' he's made to run for president." In the email, Cruz described facing constant attacks, nonexistent family time, limited sleep, and no personal time. "Are you kidding me?" Warren asked. "We're supposed to pity him because trying to be the leader of the free world is hard?! I've got two words for you, Ted: Boo hoo."
Warren said sleep is limited for "working parents who do everything they can to save money but stay up at night worrying about how to get their kids through college without getting crushed by debt," and "hardworking American immigrants, Muslims, LGBT folks, [and] women" are facing the "GOP's constant attacks" and "YOUR constant attacks." Cruz opposes mandatory paid family and medical leave and called the minimum wage "bad policy," Warren continued, and people impacted by those policies "don't whine. They don't throw tantrums or try to shut down their workplace because they don't get their way — and then turn around and demand promotions." It's a choice to run for president, and "working people don't get a choice," Warren finished. "Maybe you should spend less time complaining about your 'significant sacrifices' — and more time trying to do something about theirs."
