New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker (D) really likes Hillary Clinton. At a rally in Newark, New Jersey, on Wednesday, Booker, appearing alongside Bon Jovi and the Democratic presidential frontrunner, declared, "I hate to contradict Bon Jovi but, dear God, Hillary Clinton you give love a good name." (Booker was referencing Bon Jovi's 1986 hit "You Give Love a Bad Name.")

Bon Jovi was far from the only famous person Booker name-checked during his brief introduction of Clinton. He dedicated a stanza from Maya Angelou's poem "Still I Rise" to Clinton, referencing the lines "You may write me down in history / With your bitter, twisted lies, / You may trod me in the very dirt / But still, like dust, I'll rise." He also reportedly mentioned Teddy Roosevelt.
