Donald Trump threatens to hit Obama 'just like I hit Bill Clinton'

President Obama told voters in no uncertain terms on Wednesday that Donald Trump and the GOP are misleading them on feasible policies and promises regarding the economy. Now Trump has hit back, telling an audience at his rally in Sacramento that Obama "doesn't have a clue," and that "if he campaigns, that means I'm allowed to hit him, just like I hit Bill Clinton."
"He shouldn't campaign," Trump went on. "He should go out and do the job that he's supposed to be doing."
McClatchy DC reports that Trump also claimed he had been told 11,000 people were in the audience, although there were really only about 2,500. At one point, when protesters broke out chanting, "Trump is a fascist," Trump shouted back, "Take a shower!"

Hillary Clinton has also upped her criticisms of Trump in recent days, slamming him as a "threat" to national security and claiming Trump is "trying to scam America the way he scammed all those people at Trump U."
