The Cleveland Cavaliers won the 2016 NBA championship Sunday night, defeating the Golden State Warriors 93-89 during a nail-biting Game 7. The Cavaliers are the first team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 deficit to win the Finals, and this is the city's first championship since 1964. LeBron James led the Cavaliers with 27 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, three blocks, and two steals — his seventh Finals triple-double. James was also named the Finals MVP.
