Trump releases doctor's note showing he is in 'excellent physical health'

Donald Trump has released a letter from his physician, Dr. Harold Bornstein, in advance of Trump's pre-taped appearance on The Dr. Oz Show. In the letter, Bornstein details some of Trump's vital statistics and states that Trump stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 236 pounds, which would qualify him as overweight per the body mass index measurement. Bornstein also notes that Trump was only hospitalized once, at 11, for an appendectomy, and that his parents "lived into their late 80s and 90s," though he does say Trump takes the cholesterol-lowering drug Statin.
Bornstein has been criticized in the past for declaring Trump would be "the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency" in a hyperbolic letter that was later revealed to have been written in five minutes. Thursday's note is similarly glowing, though much more generous with actual information. "In summary," Bornstein wrote, "Mr. Trump is in excellent physical health."
