Clinton campaign rips Trump event with Bill Clinton accusers as 'destructive race to the bottom'

Hillary Clinton's campaign returned fire after Donald Trump hosted a surprise panel just an hour and a half before the debate with four women who have accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct. "We're not surprised to see Donald Trump continue his race to the bottom," Clinton's statement said, labeling the panel a "stunt."

Others have also criticized Trump for hosting the panel, with CNN commentator Van Jones saying, "Trump's reaction to being exposed as exploiting women is to exploit more women."
