California legalizes recreational marijuana


California has approved recreational marijuana, making the drug legal across the entire West Coast of the United States. California is the most populous state in the nation, and one of several states to be voting on marijuana's recreational use this election. The drug will be legal as of tomorrow.
Earlier in the evening, Florida approved the medical use of marijuana.
