Neil Patrick Harris is practically unrecognizable in the first full-length trailer for the upcoming Netflix mini-series Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. Harris plays the role of the evil Count Olaf in the eight-episode series, based on the best-selling children's books by Daniel Handler.
As Olaf pursues the inheritance of the three orphans newly placed under his guardianship, he assumes many a disguise, from a pirate to a bald, bearded man to a lipstick-wearing lady. The series hits Netflix on Jan. 13, 2017, but you can catch an early glimpse of his many disguises — as well as a preview of what Netflix's take on the beloved series looks like — in the trailer below.
