Journey released their enduring anthem "Don't Stop Believin'" in 1981, which kind of explains the costumes Jimmy Fallon and Will Ferrell wore on Thursday's Tonight Show. But everything else is an entertaining mystery until the end of Fallon's performance — which appears to be a lackluster karaoke rendition of the song by a character named Peter who is heckled by Farrell's character, a streetlight fan who seems to know the lyrics. The explanation comes at the end, and it includes a real sports bar in Sacramento, Streetlights With Gabriel, and some interesting Journey fan fiction. Does it make sense? Not really. You'll probably have fun, anyway. Watch below. Peter Weber
