President Trump will reportedly announce his intention to run for re-election in 2020, naming Brad Parscale as his campaign manager, Drudge Report revealed Tuesday. While Trump's first wife, Ivana Trump, had alleged the president wouldn't run again, Trump officially filed his campaign with the Federal Elections Commission on his inauguration day in 2017 and held his first re-election rally in early February 2017.
Trump's poll numbers, after briefly spiking in January, recently dropped back to being the lowest of his presidency — as well as a historic low for any modern president at this point in their term. Trump's former campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, now serves as counselor to the president.
