With a stunning finish, Notre Dame defeated Mississippi State in the NCAA women's basketball championship game Sunday night, 61-58.

Right before the buzzer, Notre Dame junior Arike Ogunbowale made a 3-point shot, giving the Fighting Irish the win. Ogunbowale finished the game with 18 points, and was named Most Outstanding Player. This is the second national title for Notre Dame's women's team, following their win in 2001. Catherine Garcia
