Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) isn't President Trump's teacher, but that didn't stop him from schooling him on Twitter.

On Monday, Merkley decided to mark up Trump's tweet from Sunday about immigration, which stated that "there are consequences when people cross our Border illegally," and "many are just using children for their own sinister purposes." Merkley got out his virtual red pen, crossed out most of Trump's message, and changed a few words, so it flips the entire message back on Trump.

Merkley made his edits after a judge told the Trump administration they must hand over by Wednesday information on the migrant parents who were separated from their children at the border, and haven't yet been reunited with their kids. Trump hasn't commented on Merkley's tweet, but did pat himself on the back for "reuniting illegal families," who, of course, were separated in the first place by the government.
