Bob Woodward's Fear is already one of Amazon's best-selling books of the year
Bob Woodward's new book, Fear, is released today, and it is already a huge hit. CNN reports that, due to extraordinary reader demand, Simon & Schuster has already printed one million copies of the book, which describes a White House in disarray and an administration that believes the president is incapable of leading the nation.
Fear is currently the year's fifth best-selling book on Amazon, outpacing James Comey's A Higher Loyalty, which came out in April. As CNN points out, the only Trump-related book of 2018 that Fear has not yet outsold is Michael Wolff's Fire and Fury, which remains at No. 1.
CNN also reports that pre-orders for Fear went through the roof in the past week, following the release of several excerpts that sent shock waves through Washington. President Trump has attacked Woodward's book, calling it a "joke" and speculating without evidence that Woodward is actually a Democratic operative.
