Senate Judiciary Committee members expect Friday morning vote on Kavanaugh

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said Thursday night that the panel will meet as scheduled on Friday morning.
"We're meeting at 9:30 a.m., that's all I can tell you," he said. "There will be a debate starting at 9:30." Several senators said they do expect the committee will vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, and many expect a procedural vote on the full Senate floor Saturday, Politico reports.
Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford both testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, with Ford detailing the sexual assault she said Kavanaugh committed when they were both teenagers. Ford said she is "100 percent" that Kavanaugh assaulted her, which he denied.
