'Don't cry for me, Argentina,' SNL's Trump sings, 'the truth is I'm very guilty'
Alec Baldwin returned to Saturday Night Live as an anxious President Trump, sleepless in Argentina over Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation — "Sometimes, it almost feels like he's coming after me!"
Talks with his current personal attorney Rudy Giuliani (Kate McKinnon) and former personal attorney Michael Cohen (Ben Stiller) don't do much to allay Trump's worries. Also unhelpful: a chat with Russian President Vladimir Putin (Beck Bennett), who is clearly enamored with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (Fred Armisen), no matter how much he claims Trump isn't just a "side piece."
Apropos to the setting, the scene ends on a musical note from Broadway's Evita. "Don't cry for me, Argentina," Trump sings, "the truth is I'm very guilty. Some little no-nos, and maybe treason, but I kept my promise — oops, no I didn't." Watch the full sketch below. Bonnie Kristian
