Here are the nominees for the 2019 Golden Globe Awards
The nominees for the 2019 Golden Globe Awards have arrived.
In the top category of Best Picture - Drama, the nominees this year are Black Panther, BlacKkKlansman, Bohemian Rhapsody, If Beale Street Could Talk, and A Star Is Born. Meanwhile, in the category of Best Picture - Musical or Comedy, the nominees are Crazy Rich Asians, The Favourite, Green Book, Mary Poppins Returns, and Vice.
Overall, the Dick Cheney biopic Vice received six nominations, the most of any film, with a supporting actor nomination for Sam Rockwell, a supporting actress nomination for Amy Adams, a lead actor nomination for Christian Bale, and director and screenplay nomination for Adam McKay. A Star Is Born picked up five nominations, including a lead actress nomination for Lady Gaga, lead actor and directing nominations for Bradley Cooper, and a best original song nomination for "Shallow."

The Favourite and Green Book also earned five nominations each, as Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, and Rachel Weisz were recognized for their performances in the former film and Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen recognized for their performances in the latter.
The Americans, Bodyguard, Homecoming, Killing Eve, and Pose received nominees for Best Television Series - Drama, while Barry, The Good Place, Kidding, The Kominsky Method, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel were nominated for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy.
Some of the notable snubs this year include Atlanta being shut out of Best Television Series — Musical or Comedy and Widows receiving zero nominations. There were plenty of pleasant and unexpected surprises, though, including The Good Place picking up two nominations after being shut out last year, and Elsie Fisher being nominated for Eighth Grade. And because it was the Golden Globes, there were, of course, some downright bizarre choices, including Bohemian Rhapsody being nominated for Best Picture.
