Trump quietly met with Ukraine's president last night — and Zelensky just tweeted a picture of it

The photo Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky tweeted Wednesday morning reeks of "nothing to see here."

Over the past few days, President Trump has denied, then admitted to, and now tried to brush off the importance of his reported urging of Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden — something that finally forced House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to pursue his impeachment. Yet Trump and Zelensky still quietly met up at the United Nations Tuesday night, and Zelensky just tweeted out a photo of the incident like it's nothing.

The snapshot of Zelensky, his wife Olena Zelenska, Trump, and first lady Melania Trump, was paired with a caption saying the two leaders "talked" at a reception Tuesday night. Official talks will continue today between Trump and Zelensky, and the two leaders' earlier phone call will most certainly be on the table, The Washington Post reports.
