Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Colo.) announced on Tuesday night that he is dropping out of the Democratic presidential race.
Bennet broke the news to supporters in New Hampshire, where early primary results show he received just 0.3 percent of the vote. "They've decided tonight, and tonight is not gonna be our night," he said. "But let me say this to New Hampshire: You may see me once again. So, thank you."
Bennet entered the race in May, later than many of his competitors, and was only eligible to participate in one debate. On Monday, he said he was going all in on New Hampshire, telling MSNBC, "I think I need to come in the top three or four to be able to go on and I hope we'll surprise some people tomorrow."
