A supporter of Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) holds a Paul poster in front of a "We can do better" sign at the Republican National Convention. The retiring congressman and frequent presidential candidate gave a rousing speech to some 10,000 supporters at the University of South Florida a day before the convention's start, saying that he was offered a speaking spot at the RNC — but only if Team Romney be allowed to vet his speech, and only if he strongly endorsed Mitt Romney. Paul refused. "It wouldn't be my speech," the irrepressible libertarian said. "I don't fully endorse him for president."
