J.K. Rowling hits back at Rupert Murdoch's comments blaming all Muslims for Paris attacks

It's not difficult to see the issues with Murdoch's statement, and J.K. Rowling took to Twitter on Sunday to issue her own response.
"I was born Christian. If that makes Rupert Murdoch my responsibility, I'll auto-excommunicate," Rowling tweeted. She argued that peaceful Muslims are no more responsible for Islamic extremism than she is for statements of Christians like Murdoch.

And when Murdoch's defenders responded to Rowling's tweet, she had the perfect response for them, too. Rowling provided a link to a study that found "eight times more Muslims have been killed by so-called Islamic terrorists than non-Muslims," according to one of her later tweets.
