Donald Trump calls New Hampshire newspaper publisher 'a real lowlife' after an editorial comparing him to Back to the Future's Biff

Never one to let an insult go unaddressed, Donald Trump slammed the publisher of the New Hampshire Union Leader for an unflattering front-page editorial that ran on Monday. "He's a real lowlife, there's no question about it," Trump said of Joe McQuaid, who had likened Trump to Back to the Future's bully, Biff Tannen, and claimed Trump was running a campaign that insulted the intelligence of New Hampshire voters.
"He's a very dishonest man," Trump added, speaking on the New Hampshire television station WMUR. According to Politico, Trump was suspicious he was getting the front-page skewering because he hadn't participated in a Union Leader-sponsored candidate forum in August. "I knew when I didn't do the debate he would take action against me," Trump said.
Trump also suggested New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie colluded with McQuaid on the editorial, something McQuaid denied to Politico in an email. "This is typical Trump," McQuaid said, adding that in June Trump had called him a "fantastic man."
