Mitt Romney to vote for Ted Cruz in Utah caucus

Former Massachusetts governor and 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney will be voting for Sen. Ted Cruz in the upcoming Utah caucuses, ABC News reports. While one time opposed by many in the Republican establishment, Cruz is now seen as one of the very few options to stop Donald Trump.
"Today, there is a sharp contest between Trumpism and Republicanism," Romney wrote on Facebook. "Through the calculated statements of its leader, Trumpism has become associated with racism, misogyny, bigotry, xenophobia, vulgarity, and, most recently, threats and violence... At this stage, the only way we can reach an open convention is for Senator Cruz to be successful in as many of the remaining nominating elections as possible."
Cruz earned an endorsement earlier this week from Sen. Lindsey Graham, who had once likened nominating Cruz to being shot or poisoned.
